We are thrilled to offer a series of online yoga classes guided by Magdalena Kreilich-Milojevic. These classes will be taught from inside the art gallery, so you can witness the exhibitions while you practice at home. Magdalena creates flows that are fun and challenging, offering varieties for each pose to serve all practitioners and their potential. Her vision is to make yoga accessible to everyone, so beginners and experienced yogis are all welcome!
Magdalena has been practicing yoga for 15 year. She is certified to teach Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative and Meditation, and is currently a teacher at Harvest Yoga Studio. Magdalena received her 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) in 2018, and has continued her studies with the 300 hr YTT, adding Yoga Nidra, Prenatal Yoga, Adaptive Yoga and Trauma Informed Yoga to her repertoire.
“The yoga mat is the greatest source of information, and while on it we can find out who we truly are. Every judgement, every expectation, every comparison, frustration, fall, even a curse word will surface on our mat in the same way it would everywhere else. And then one day, the destination becomes irrelevant, and the journey we’re on becomes a bundle of magical moments, discoveries, victories and insight; your breath calms, your mind gains focus, your eyes locate an invisible point to look at, your body becomes your teacher, and you become aware of beautiful human experience you’re in. Everything you experience on your mat is guaranteed to transpire everywhere else.”
This class will be held online over zoom, and is by suggested donation of $5 - $10. All donations will be offered to the gallery to continue enriching our public programming. If you are experiencing financial barriers, please know you are welcome to attend this class for free.
