    Keelan Cashmore (she/her) joined the team as the Visitor Services and Volunteer Coordinator in August 2022. Her key responsibilities include recruiting and managing volunteers, coordinating the Shop at SAAG, and being the first point of contact for each guest who visits the gallery. Keelan holds a Master’s degree in Museum Studies from the University of Toronto and is a strong supporter of the informal learning that occurs in museums and galleries alike. She strives to make the arts accessible and the gallery a space where all feel welcome.

    Kels Delamarter (she/her) started at the Gallery as Digital Coordinator in 2023. She is responsible for the gallery's digital presence, social media, and online community engagement. Kels loves creating digital content that champions diversity, creativity, and strives to share the heart of the gallery in fun and educational ways. Outside of the gallery, she holds a BA in Anthropology and is the host of Queer in Alberta, a video-podcast that tells the stories of 2SLGBTQIA+ Albertans on OptikTV.

    Jeremy Franchuk (he/him) joined the team at the Gallery in June 2022. His responsibilities include overseeing the development program, including membership, donor relations, sponsorship, grants, and event-based fundraising; external communications; and outreach and audience development initiatives in consultation with the Programming Team.

    Bariyaa Ipaa (he/him) is an emerging Nigerian-Canadian Artist based in Lethbridge, Alberta. As Outreach Coordinator, Bariyaa develops and executes public engagement strategies that promote meaningful experiences with contemporary art while expanding the demographics of audiences served by the Gallery.

    Working at the Gallery since 2021, Heather Kehoe (she/her) assists in coordinating the Gallery’s events, public programming and publication projects through the Gallery’s in-house publishing studio. Heather is an emerging artist and researcher and aspiring arts professional from Mohkinstsis/Calgary, and holds a BFA Honors in Visual Studies from the University of Calgary.

    As the Gallery’s Lead Preparator since 2021, Arianna Richardson (she/her) is an enthusiastic builder and creative problem-solver, responsible for the installation of the various exhibitions at the Gallery. She is passionate about making sure that the artwork is handled and displayed with the utmost care, working always to keep the gallery space in tip-top condition for your viewing pleasure. Between installation periods, Arianna is busy in her many other roles as an artist, sewist, art instructor, and mother.

    Su Ying Strang (she/her) started at the Gallery in 2022, and leads the organization in its mission to foster the work of contemporary artists who challenge boundaries and encourage a broad public engagement, awareness, and exploration of artistic expression. Su Ying’s work in the arts is informed by an artist-centred and community-driven ethos—prioritizing thoughtful stewardship of artistic practices and accessibility to programming for audiences.

    Meghan Visser (she/her) started with the Gallery in 2020 working at the front desk, then spent some time in fund development before landing in her current role. Meghan works with the entire team to ensure that all of the Gallery’s operations run smoothly. She is passionate about making the Gallery an accessible and safe space, while providing tools for everyone to thoroughly consume and enjoy art.

    Starting at the Gallery in 2019, Adam Whitford (he/him) curates exhibitions, coordinates exhibition logistics, and oversees public programs and publications. Adam continues to look for ways to bring wider issues in contemporary art to Lethbridge while positioning the artists of Southern Alberta as important contributors to those same conversations. Adam holds a BFA in Art & Design and an MA in the History of Art, Design, and Visual Culture from the University of Alberta.
