GROUP RATES
Visiting the Gallery with a group? We offer special rates with optional tours for groups of 10 or more, including students! Group visits must be booked in advance. For rates and to book your group, please contact Keelan Cashmore, Visitor Services & Volunteer Coordinator by email or call 403-327-8770 x 21.

ACCESSIBILITY
All galleries and public spaces are wheelchair accessible. Free admission is available for the accompanying personal care attendant of a visitor paying regular admission. SAccredited service dogs are welcome in all Gallery spaces. A Service Dog Identification Card must be presented on arrival and each animal must be clearly identified by visual indicators such as a vest or harness. TRANSIT + BIKING
The Gallery is accessible via many Lethbridge Transit bus routes. and is just a few blocks from the downtown Lethbridge Regional Park 'n' Ride Transit Terminal. Use the Lethbridge Transit Trip Planner to you find your best connection to the Gallery. If you are visiting us by bicycle, there are bike racks available outside the main entrance.

PARKING
The Gallery does not offer visitor parking. However there is ample on-street parking available along 3rd Avenue and throughout downtown. Parking downtown is free after 5:30 p.m. on weekdays, on Saturdays and Sundays, and most holidays. Click here for a downtown parking map, rates, and more information.

LETHBRIDGE PRESENTS LIBRARY PASS
Southern Alberta Art Gallery family passes (admits 2 adults and 2 children) can be checked out through the Lethbridge Public Library and any Chinook Arch Regional Library location as part of the Lethbridge Presents program which provides library members with access to local sports, recreation and cultural events. GALLERY CODE OF CONDUCT

The Southern Alberta Art Gallery Maansiksikaitsitapiitsinikssin is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all visitors, employees, and volunteers.

We expect all visitors, employees, and volunteers to treat one another with dignity and respect and strive to create a space free from violence, abuse, harassment, discrimination or other unacceptable behaviours.

Individuals whose conduct is abusive, threatening, disruptive, or disrespectful will be asked to leave the Gallery.

If you experience or witness harassment or other behaviours that are creating an unsafe environment, please notify a Gallery staff member.

VISITOR GUIDELINES

  1. Visitors are not permitted to touch the artworks (unless otherwise indicated). 

  2. No food and drink is permitted inside any exhibition spaces.    

  3. Children under the age of twelve (12) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while at the Gallery. Those under the age of six (6) must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Strollers are permitted in all galleries unless otherwise indicated..

  4. Hand-held devices may be used to take non-flash photographs for personal use only (except where indicated). Tripods and commercial photography are not permitted in the galleries without prior approval.

  5. Any person or group exhibiting aggressive, abusive, harassing or threatening behaviour or language, including use of obscenities, displaying hate-related symbols, or evoking hatred in any way towards another person, will be asked to leave the Gallery. 

  6. Any person or group using illegal drugs or abusing alcohol or drugs on the premises will be asked to leave the Gallery.

  7. Soliciting or any activities that are disruptive or disrespectful to other visitors, staff, or volunteers are not permitted on Gallery property.

  8. Visitors shall not make a declaration or speech, create a media event or stage a photo opportunity without prior approval from the Gallery.  

  9. Weapons of any kind are not permitted on Gallery property.

  10. Visitors must be clothed and wearing footwear.

  11. Patrons are responsible for their personal belongings at all times. The Gallery is not  responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.
