The Southern Alberta Art Gallery is pleased to partner with Environment Lethbridge as a pick-up location for their Seedy Saturday event. Seedy Saturday is the perfect start to spring and the growing season. It’s a way to celebrate, learn and be inspired to grow your own food, flowers, greens, and plants, to eat and shop local, find new ways to live a sustainable life, and learn about amazing organizations bettering our community.
Environment Lethbridge will be offering a series of virtual events that we will share as they are announced, and the SAAG is offering in-person seed pick-up during the days and times listed above. We have a limited amount of seed packages, so please register for your pick-up time in advance.
Environment Lethbridge is a Lethbridge-based nonprofit organization that inspires community action and engagement towards sustainability.
CHOOSE YOUR SEEDS:
Heat Lovers Veggies (tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, peppers and others)
Mixed Veggies (lettuce, carrots, broccoli, cucumbers, squash, peas, corn and others)
Flowers and Herbs (marigolds, hollyhocks, sage, parsley and others)
Groups of up to 3 can register for pick-up in 15 minute intervals from March 25 - 27 at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery (601 3 Avenue South, Lethbridge), Thursday from 1 - 7 PM MST, Friday and Saturday from 1 - 5 PM MST. Please register for your time here:
