ADAM WHITFORD | People to Be Resembling
Adam Whitford, the SAAG’s Curatorial & Publications Coordinator, will be joining us to discuss an essay by Kodwo Eshun, co-founder of the Otolith Group. Whitford is a curatorial professional, writer, and occasional artist, who assisted in curating the Xenogenesis at the SAAG. He holds a BFA in Art & Design as well as an MA in the History of Art, Design, and Visual Culture from the University of Alberta. His research often considers the museum experience, the imagined objectivity of the photograph and the cultural lenses used to make sense of both over time. He is published by Canadian Art, Galleries West, the Art Gallery of Burlington, and the Woodstock Art Gallery.
