Calling all creative teens! Join us for a special TINY PRESS WORKSHOP in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club Lethbridge URBAN SKILLZ program. Participants will learn how to confidently use the equipment in our Tiny Press Studio, and will make their own handmade artbook. This book will be a combination of blank pages to be used as a sketchbook for later creative practice, as well as art multiples to be made onsite during the workshop. Artists will have the opportunity to craft a unique cover using collage and stamp techniques. All materials will be provided.

Tiny Press at SAAG is a handmade bookmaking studio at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery, in Lethbridge, Alberta. Tiny Press prints, binds, and distributes books by hand, creating original work with writers and artists of the region, about topics that are important to us. Tiny Press is a community resource, and social gathering place for those interested in learning about publication, and connecting with others through a DIY mentality.
