The Shop at SAAG is excited to announce an opening reception to welcome our new Shop Feature! Please join us for an evening with Nicole Riedmueller as she discusses her art practice and the inspiration behind her featured works. 

Nicole Riedmueller enmeshes herself in artistic research-creation through a deep, and often intuitive investigation into tactile materials and techniques. Inspired by feminist art and craft practices, including the idea that the personal is political and universal, she creates one-of-a-kind objects to evoke fanciful contemplation and aesthetic pleasure.

Riedmueller is an artist, craftsperson and educator engaged in family, community and studio practice here in Treaty 7 Territory (Lethbridge, AB). She graduated with a BFA from NSCAD University (2000), a BEd from the University of Lethbridge (2018) and an MFA from the University of Lethbridge (2020).
