NATURE AS TEACHING SYSTEMS PART 2

The Southern Alberta Art Gallery Maansiksikaitsitapiitsinikssin invites you to join artist and educator John Chief Calf to explore the Blackfoot language, history, and culture and their connections with the natural world this Saturday, July 23 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Chief Calf will share his knowledge and offer a different perspective on our relationship with the land, one that encourages an understanding of nature as an intelligent system.

As these are outdoor workshops, attendees are encouraged to bring/wear:

  • weather-appropriate clothing

  • a hat

  • sunscreen

  • bug spray

  • comfortable walking shoes

  • a water bottle

  • notebook and pens/pencils
