SAVING LETHBRIDGE’S HISTORIC PLACES | BELINDA CROWSON FEBRUARY 26 | 3 - 4 PM MST
FREE WITH ADMISSION | LIMITED IN-PERSON CAPACITY | REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Loving Lethbridge's historic places isn't enough. A social media post won't do it alone. Behind saving Lethbridge's historic places is a lot of work that includes plaques and plans, surveys and strategies, finances and friend-raising and much more.
As we celebrate the centennial year of the historic Carnegie Library, which houses the Southern Alberta Art Gallery Maansiksikaitsitapiitsinikssin, Lethbridge Historical Society president, Belinda Crowson, will share the work done by many people over many decades to create the processes we have today, will highlight some of the successes and failures along the way and how you can help ensure more successes in the future.
Belinda Crowson is a writer, researcher and public historian. She is the president of the Lethbridge Historical Society and secretary of the Historical Society of Alberta.
The Articulations Art Lecture Series offers presentations from contemporary practicing artists and arts professionals. Local and international artists, curators, critics, art historians, theorists, filmmakers, and more, join us in discussion, sharing their practice and engaging with the audience in open, critical discussion.
