Gallery School is an Education Program that creates connections between contemporary art and the Alberta curriculum. Gallery School promotes inquiry-based learning and fosters creativity to help students focus on their observation skills and ability to express themselves through art activities. These 90-minute programs are designed to enrich the K-12 classroom experience.
When is Gallery School?
Gallery School runs from September through to June.
Visits may be booked on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Time slots are:
10:00 am to 11:30 pm
12:45 pm to 2:15 pm

How do we get to the gallery?
Gallery School transportation on the Art Bus for schools within the City of Lethbridge is funded by the generous support of the Sun Life Financial Service Center.

How much does it cost?
Each Gallery School program visit costs a flat rate of $40. Full payment is due upon arrival. The SAAG accepts MasterCard, Visa, Amex, cash, cheque and debit as methods of payment.
How do I book a Gallery School program?
For all booking requests, teachers may call the Southern Alberta Art Gallery at 403.327.8770 ext. 21
All program visits must be booked at least two weeks in advance.
