HOUSE TOURS & TEA: July 24, 2010 The gallery is looking for volunteers to help with our annual fundraiser, House Tours & Tea. We are looking for volunteers to fill a variety of positions including: Tour Guide, Tea Server, Set-up Crew and more.
ART AUCTION: September 11, 2010 The Art Auction is one of the gallery’s main fundraising events and we are looking for volunteers to fill a variety of positions including: Set-up Crew, Server, Bartender, Vanna, Paymaster, Packer and more.
GRAND OPENING CELEBRATIONS: September 17 & 18, 2010 The Southern Alberta Art Gallery is excited about the opening of our newly renovated building at 601 Third Avenue South. We’re looking for volunteers to fill a variety of roles over the course our two-day celebration. We’d love to have you involved! INSTALLATIONS Interact with artists and gain valuable professional experience in a contemporary art gallery. We’re looking for energetic volunteers with some experience in a gallery setting to help with the installation of the following exhibitions:

BARTENDING Bartending is a great way to enjoy social functions at SAAG while lending a helping hand. If you’re outgoing and good with cash, this is the job for you.
EDUCATION PROGRAMS Are you looking to get involved in your community? Do you want to work with children, youth and lifelong learners in a creative environment? The Southern Alberta Art Gallery Wants You! We’re now accepting volunteer applications for the Educational Programs at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery. We’re looking for enthusiasm, dedication and a commitment to the SAAG’s values of team, trust, excellence and creativity. There are many shoes to fill and we need talented people to fill them – one of them could be you. Opportunities include, but are not limited to: - F@n Club Educational Program (Weekly September – June)
- Coulees & Culture Day Camps (One day opportunities during July 26-30, 2010 and August 9-13, 2010)
We need ongoing volunteers and interns for educational programs. If you enjoy kids, art and culture and have the time, we definitely want to work with you. This work environment is professional and invigorating. It's a great opportunity to make a difference and a contribution.

GIFT SHOP
If you have a passion for art, design and fashion then this is the perfect volunteer position for you! The SAAG Gift Shop is currently looking for energetic, friendly volunteers who have an eye for detail and some experience in a retail setting.
We are looking for volunteers who are willing to assist the Visitor Services Manager with: • cashier services • stocking and organizing merchandise • speaking with customers and answering questions • helping with general cleaning and dusting of gift shop products • wrapping gifts and creating gift baskets for customers
This position requires a minimum time commitment of two hours weekly.
